Session 24: Create a Business Card

Materials

• Construction paper or index cards
• Markers
• Computers (optional)

Instructional Activities

1. Explain that many men and women present business cards to people they meet to help those people remember their names and important professional and personal information.
   
   
2. Ask students to use construction paper and markers to create a business card for a member of the Executive Branch. This would include the President, Vice President, cabinet members, and heads of regulatory agencies.
   
   
3. Model what you would like to have on the card. (This might include a clever name for the official, a pertinent graphic from a Web site, an organizational design, a motto or slogan, or other information that shows the student knows the role of the person or agency within the Executive Branch.)
